Written mainly in procedural PHP, this CMS allowed easy configuration of a corporate website I was maintaining at the time. Jacques supported every language you desired and was a unique solution, when no easy-to-use multilingual CMS was available. Although I put a lot of TLC in the development, as the site grew bigger - and we needed to support up to 8 languages - managing content became more cumbersome, since content was presented in a big grid per menu item.
The name was initially different. Since I was fond of snails, I thought it was funny to call it Jacuqes i.e. “Jacques de slak”.
