Jacques CMS

Designed and developed Jacques CMS, a custom multilingual content management system (CMS) built primarily in procedural PHP to streamline the configuration and maintenance of a corporate website. Architected the platform to dynamically support full internationalization (i18n), enabling scalable management of as many languages as desired; delivering a practical multilingual solution before alternatives were widely available.
Implemented a flexible configuration structure tailored to business needs and ensured reliable performance as the site expanded in size and complexity. Identified and navigated scalability challenges as content volume increased, particularly in relation to grid-based content management per menu item, gaining valuable insight into content architecture and maintainability at scale.
Although the name was initially different, I let my fondness of snails take the upper hand. Jacques became a passion project throughout the years of my employment at Ferro.
